Dr. Maher
Doctor Melissa A. Maher was born in Winnipeg, Canada where she attended the University of Winnipeg. After completing her bachelors degree in human biology, she studied for her Doctorate of Chiropractic at North Western Health Science University in Bloomington, MN.
Upon graduation, she completed her fellowship in ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) and became certified in Webster technique. The fellowship focused on treatment of pediatric patients as well as research and x-ray study relevant to case management of these patients. Dr. Maher, along with fellow colleagues developed and coordinated a chiropractic work conditions program with John Deere, which involved instructing and educating employees who had been injured on the job on how to perform proper stretch exercises as well as an emphasis on workplace ergonomics to prevent injury and increase work potential. Dr. Maher is experienced in treating a variety of conditions and has helped improve the lives of patients of all ages. She resides with her husband and daughter in South Florida. |
